This notice explains what happens to the details you send us through this website. It is written to be read in a couple of minutes.
Who we are
Don Designs is operated by Ross Digby, based in Leicestershire, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the details you send through this site. You can reach us at ross@dondesigns.co.uk, or by post at Don Designs, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
What we collect
The enquiry form collects your business name, trade, town, phone number, email address and any message you add. It may also collect your current website status, contact preference, preferred contact time, colour preference, selected plan, selected design and campaign source.
The book-a-call form collects your name, business name, phone number, email address, your chosen call time and anything you add in the note.
Vercel and Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical data needed to serve and protect the site, including your IP address, browser, operating system and request details. Google Fonts receives your IP address, requested font URL and standard browser headers when it serves the site's fonts.
Why we use it
To build the free site preview you asked for and to contact you about it. Nothing else. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you started.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details while we respond. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for the work and our records. Resend keeps transactional email data for 30 days under its current service plans. If you ask us to delete your details, we will do so unless we need to keep them for a legal or accounting reason.
Who sees it
Your enquiry or booking is emailed straight to Ross, and a booking confirmation is emailed to you. Vercel hosts the site, Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions, Resend delivers the emails, and Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces. A booking also stores the chosen time slot and a short reference code, with no personal details, in Vercel's storage so the same slot cannot be booked twice. These providers process only the information needed to provide those services. We do not sell your details.
Where it is processed
Some of these providers process data in the United States or other countries. Their contracts include the safeguards required for UK data transfers.
Cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile runs a security check on enquiry forms. Its standard form check does not use a pre-clearance cookie.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold, correct them, or have them deleted. Depending on the circumstances, you can also ask us to restrict how we use them, object to their use, or send you a portable copy. Email ross@dondesigns.co.uk and we will sort it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
